AMATO is an existence that restores people's lost memories.
In the metaverse space "IZANA", when memory fragments distort, "monsters" are born.
AMATO was not born to fight these monsters.
He appears not to destroy memories, but to return them to their rightful place.

Story Synopsis
Humanity has obtained "IZANA", a metaverse space where memories can be guarded and woven together.
However, this evolution creates new distortions. Damaged, replaced, and forgotten "memories" eventually go berserk and transform into monsters that erode the world.
An existence that appears to restore memories stolen from people — that is AMATO.
He appears like a god, confronts memories that have become monsters, and saves people's "true selves".
But AMATO is not alone.

Born as a being without memories, goes berserk

Watches over the two as a companion
Machines can calculate, but cannot hold memories.
Because memories are proof that humans are human.
